Sustainability
There is no denying that what we do as individuals and organizations has a direct affect on planet affecting us and the lives of future generations. At Huemanitas, we have made a conscious effort to create a sustainable business that takes into account the implications of our actions as global citizens. Here are some of the things we are doing to be more socially responsible:
- We have located our headquarters in the neighborhood in which we live and play, allowing us to dramatically reduce our daily dependence on automobile travel in favor of walking and bicycling.
- Our business structure is based on a virtual engagement model, so our field principals are set up as clustered teams tapping into a central intelligence network. This cost savings in overhead in turn saves you money.
- We consistently look for ways to improve our community by supporting local businesses.
- At our office, we recycle and wherever possible, purchase products made up of at least 30% recycled material.
- We buy and support local, bioregional and organic products whenever possible.
